Providing a loving family for youth and Children in Need of Protective Services (CHIPS) in the Greater Milwaukee Metropolitan area.

ABOUT

History

In 2002, Servant Manor opened its first out-of-home care facility as a for profit agency, with the goal of improving care coordination and family permanency outcomes in Milwaukee.  In 2003, we became a nonprofit organization and received our 501c3 status in January, 2004. Today, Servant Manor continues to provide a safe and nurturing environment as an alternative to being moved frequently within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems.

About Servant Manor

Servant Manor provides social services to youth in the Greater Milwaukee Metropolitan area.  We operate two out-of-home care facilities, accommodating adolescent males and females ages 12-17.  We deliver care year round on a twenty-four hour, seven day a week basis.  Our staff provides daily supervision, counseling, mentoring, academic tutoring, and physical training for our youth.  We provide transportation to and from school and activities as needed.  Nearly half of all the children we serve will be successfully reunited with their family or a foster family.  For those remaining within the transition process, we seek to provide superior service, both to youth and their families.

Our Programs

Currently, Servant Manor offers two primary programs:

Specialized Treatment Programming (Adjudicated Youth & CHIPS). Our specialized treatment program provides basic oversight, supervision, and treatment assistance in a family-like setting for youth on a 24-hour basis.  This program primarily serves youth referred through Delinquency and Court Services, and Children in Need of Protective Services (CHIPS).  Offerings include:

  • Group and individual counseling
  • Managing Aggressive Behavior
  • Daily meal service, laundry and transportation
  • Independent Living and Soft Skills Training

Crisis/Respite Care.  Servant Manor’s short-term or crisis care program is designed to provide short-term or emergency care needs for young men and women.  Our program provides basic oversight and supervision on a 24-hour basis for periods of 15 days or less.
